Failure is not an option

Just finished watching G.I Jane. For like maybe the fortieth time? =D

Yeah yeah.. I know that movie is like SUPER long ago.. It's seriously my all time favourite. Watched it when I was... 8? LOL. Yeah.. and I'm supposed to be turning 18. Never fails to make me feel better.

In case you're still wondering, yes, it's an action packed movie. So sue me. =X

I'm like real slow. Cuz it was like only after watching LOTR for like the third time before I realized Aragorn IS the Command Master Chief in G.I Jane.

Ah well.

"I never saw a wild thing
sorry for itself
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself" - D.H. Lawrence

That was the first thing that the Command Master Chief said when he appeared on screen.

Bottom line is: Never feel sorry for yourself.

Jordan O'Neil can pull through Hell Week (when 60% of the others "rang out")

She should just be my motivation to pull through the ASS-ignments and exams --- for the next two years.

Time to Update

Time to Update
ASS-ignments are mostly cleared --- left with FP on Mon and CD paper after CNY. -.- How to celebrate u tell me?

Got back FP Part 1 assignment yesterday. Yeah well. That's life man. Things happen when you least expected it.

Guess double pissed off = emotionless huh.

Traumatized quite a few people I guess. It's really funny actually, come to think of it. Even people that I've not talked to often came and ask me if i'm all right. Even though I showed no signs of wanting to bawl my eyes out or screaming like a banshee.

Ah well. There's nothing I can do about it anyway. What for crying over spilled milk?

I think I'm gonna need a blood transfusion soon. Did SO many assignments, puked SO much blood. And Jolene still wanted me to donate blood.

On a side note:

CNY is NEXT WEEK.

I only realised it on Wed when my grandma called me to go to her place to bring back the pineapple tarts.

I've got NO new clothes.

And clothes never liked me. Especially when I really need to get new clothes. Went hunting for clothes the past 2 days and what did I get?

NOTHING.

Does that even surprise you?

Big Head Syndrome

Big Head Syndrome
I'm currently experiencing the Big Head Syndrome.

ASS-ignments being cleared bit by bit.

At least the speech and masterpiece presentation has passed. Think I screwed up my speech.

*
Signs that points to the big head syndrome:

- Staring at the screen, typing a word or two in every five minutes.
- Thinking so hard you think your brain might drop out, or it might have been BBQ-ed inside your head already.
- Uttering nonsensical stuff at random moments causing others to stare randomly at you.
- Believing that your brain cells have fried.

If you have any or more than 2 of the above, unfortunately, you've gotten the BHS.

Ways of countering this syndrome: Stay calm and steady, or get an extra brain.

**

I wouldn't mind if the big head syndrome like increases the size of my brain as well. But nooooooo! They increase my headache, due to seeing the stuff to be cleared or because of the lack of sleep - I have no idea, but the brain power is still the same size as far as I'm concerned.

Someone just lend me their brain till next week. I'll promise to return in the exact same condition when you've lent it to me. I'll even erase the data I've stored in your brain.

LOL. I'm talking about the brain as if it's a thumb drive. Or an external hard disk.

End Jan

End Jan
My desktop is FIXED!!! =D Though there's like problems with the wireless - or lack of wireless, or maybe I just can't find the in built wireless, but yeah, plugged in the ol' wireless card into the desktop and problem fixed!! And the disk drive screwed up on me. But all went well and that's all that matters.

*

Look at the picture and what do you see? Yes. Coffee, coffee, and more coffee. I really think I need all the caffeine in the world right now. We're approaching the end of January, people. Next week is the assignments "due week", following by a few other left over assignments due the week after.

Reports. Reflections. Observation. Speech. Story.

I'm usually not the FRIENDLIEST person during this period. So don't feel too offended if I'm too whatever. You get what I mean.

Custom made PC

Custom made PC
Motherboard -- Gigabyte S-series

Speed, Smart, Safe --- They didn mention STOOPID.

HORRENDOUS. I really hate changing the CPU.

This time it's worse. Dual Core. Got the people to fix it up, and was supposed to JUST go home and plug in the DVD driver, since that's my only disk drive. THAT'S ALL.

Guess what? They're nice enough to open up the top slot on the casing, but the WIRE wasn't long enough. So I had to figure out how to open that slot thing.

BLOODY DIFFICULT CAN. I CUT MY FINGER. It was THAT sharp. So after a lot of struggling with that non-living thing, I got it opened.

There was a HIDDEN thing that I had to press down inside the casing, before i can pull the thing out. COMPLICATED! And that stoopid guy charged me 60 bucks for the casing! It looked soooo simple on the outside! If I knew better... DIE DIE ALSO WON'T BUY.

Look at that picture. The INTERIOR of the thing can give me a heart attack. Was there SUPPOSED to be so many loose wires??

After like dunno how many hours, not to mention the amount of hours in Sim Lim, finally can power on that thing.

Then came the NTLDR Error. What the hell is that?!

So all in all.. Spent 800+ for a dual core com that is NOT working. OUCH. Heart pain. Gotta like.. get back to it soon..

I have to fix it up soon... -.-"
